Jean Regan, President
Jean joined Tranzact Technologies, Inc. in 1987 as Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, and became President in Spring 2000. In this role, Jean provides strategic direction and executive management, and oversees the administrative, operational and financial activities within the company. She oversees the Information Technology group and Customer Service and Operational groups, including strategic initiatives, new product development and enhancements. She directs the financial aspects of the corporation, including all corporate banking and investments and Human Resource activities, including corporate structure and employee benefits.
Prior to joining Tranzact, Ms. Regan was a staff accountant, then Senior Manager at KPMG, a big five public accounting firm. She was selected for participation in a prestigious internal control review team, which reviewed work in other KPMG offices. Ms. Regan was then promoted to Group Administrator, where she scheduled 80 professionals in audit engagements during her two years in this position. Jean left KPMG after 9 years and joined a privately held lumber and hardware operation. As Executive Vice-President, she oversaw the operations, finances and accounting.
Ms. Regan has a BS in Accounting with high honors from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and a Masters of Management Degree with a Minor in Finance from Northwestern University. She is actively involved in Vistage (formerly known as TEC, The Executives Committee), the AICPA, the Illinois CPA Society, is a Member of the Board of Directors for Sentry Insurance, a Member of the Board of Directors for L3 and is a Committee Chairperson on the Marketing Committee for the Solheim Cup in 2009 at Rich Harvest Farms, Sugar Grove, IL.

Dana Regan, National Account Executive
Dana Regan is a National Account Executive with TranzAct Technologies, Inc. She is also the Customer Service and Sales Manager for Capacity & Service Solutions, the volume less-than-truckload and truckload brokerage division of TranzAct. Ms. Regan instituted a new commitment to customer service at C&SS which resulted in significant sales growth and increases in customer satisfaction since assuming her role in 2005.
Ms. Regan began her career at Tranzact, working part time in many different roles within the freight payment and logistics operations. After graduating from Villanova University in 2004, she joined Strive Logistics as a dispatch operator and sales associate. She re-joined TranzAct in 2005 to assist the company in building the brokerage and freight payment operations and is currently completing the CTL Certification process through the American Society of Transportation and Logistics.
She is actively involved in many civic and professional organizations such as the Executive’s Club New Leaders’ Initiative, Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, Young Executives’ Club of Chicago, American Society of Transportation and Logistics, Traffic Club of Chicago and the National Industrial Transportation League. Ms. Regan served as the co-chair for the World Presidents’ Organization Legacy Experience Annual Conference in 2008. She has organized and participated in over fifteen missionary trips to Tijuana and Ensenada, Mexico through Youth with a Mission’s Homes of Hope program.

Christina Wedell, Team Lead
Christina Wedell is a Team Lead at TranzAct Techologies, managing a team of thirteen Freight Payment Specialists and Account Relationship Analysts. The team’s specialists are responsible for sorting, verifying, batching and scanning the freight bills for all clients assigned to the team. The team’s analysts are the main point of contact for their clients, and are responsible for resolving all freight bill issues, ensuring all bills are paid correctly and on time, as well as overseeing all special requests and modifications.
Ms.Wedell received her APICS Certification (American Production and Inventory Control Society) in 1990 and has extensive experience in the Manufacturing and Distribution industries. Ms. Wedell’s teams of programmers and project managers led their clients through complex software implementations, lasting from six months to over two years. She also provided formal software training on over twenty manufacturing, distribution and accounting applications.
Most recently Ms.Wedell held the position of Business Analytics Manager for Mid America Bank (now National City) overseeing a team of analysts who provided business solutions and reporting in the banking industry. She most enjoys educating her employees and guiding them to better their career paths.
Ms. Wedell earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, and graduated with High Honors.

Rosa Serna, Accountant
Rosa Serna is an Accountant for Tranzact Technologies. In this leadership role, she manages the invoicing and all funds transactions from debiting or receiving to releasing payments to carriers. Ms. Serna provides data analysis to assist the President and management team with decision making. She communicates company and client activity to all departments including Implementation and Operations.
Prior to joining TranzAct in 2007, Ms. Serna began her career in banking as a Personal Banker at West Suburban Bank and an Account Executive at Winfield Community Bank. In these roles, she gathered extensive experience in accounting, loans and visa, wire and ACH transactions.
Rosa received an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Management from College of DuPage and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.

Jan Darr, Programmer/Analyst
Jan Darr is a Programmer/Analyst for TranzAct Technologies. She helps lead the Information Technology staff by collaborating to develop and maintain web-based software such as TranzAct’s web enabled Bill of Lading Generator, StarDoc, and our internal windows-based freight payment software, StarPay. Ms. Darr’s primary goal is to provide TranzAct’s customers with innovative and reliable performing software.
Of her 21 years as a programmer, Ms. Darr has spent 10 in the Logistics market. Prior to joining TranzAct in 2003, she gathered a wealth of software development and management experience working for organizations such as CTC Computer Services (Comprehensive Transportation Concepts), Niche Software and TransOceanic Shipping. She is now working towards her MCPD (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer) certification, which she expects to complete this year.
Ms. Darr earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.

La Wanda Bradley, Account Relations Analyst
La Wanda Bradley is an Account Relations Analyst. She is the main point of contact for many of TranzAct’s long term clients. She is responsible for resolving freight bill issues, ensuring her clients’ freight bills are paid correctly and on time, and manages all aspects of her clients’ requests for reporting, enhancements and modifications to their invoice processing.
Ms. Bradley began with TranzAct Technologies in 1997 as a Data Entry Operator. Within just a year, she was promoted to Data Control Operator, where she became more involved specifically with Freight Payment and resolutions for both carriers and clients. She has also held a supervisory role, overseeing Data Prep, scanning, and distribution.
Prior to her tenure at TranzAct, La Wanda has held supervisor positions at the US Postal Service and Montgomery Ward.
La Wanda attended Northeastern Illinois University, majoring in Business Administration.

Linda Richardson, Manager of Human Resources
Linda Richardson is Manager of Human Resources at TranzAct Technologies. She organizes and implements all Human Resources functions, including recruiting and staffing, compensation benefits, employee and labor relations, and training. Ms. Richardson works directly with the President and CEO to develop policies and procedures for the company to ensure the development of a strong team.
Prior to joining TranzAct in 2003, Ms. Richardson was a Human Resource Administrator for Million Air-Midway in Chicago and has gathered extensive experience in customer service, education and management.
Ms. Richardson attended Moraine Valley College in Palos Hills, Illinois. |
